Our Mission:

The main objective of ESDO is to assist the Citizens of the Earth in promoting environmental development, ensuring the conservation of bio-diversity and arriving at an ecological equilibrium with inputs for self-management in socio-economic strengthening programs.

ESDO is a nationwide organization that promotes social welfare at the grass root and all communal levels to solve social and environmental problems on a large scale.

Our Vision:

We aim to take the nation towards a self-sustaining peace, safety and steady progress through advocacy and lobbying.

Our Strategy:

ESDOs strategy promotes and encourages an environmental movement by organizing a participatory and democratic framework for diverse social groups with common interests, and supporting them up with them with ideas, information leadership and other backups relating to the use and promotion of safe and environment friendly products.

Since 1991 ESDO has been working with people from the grass root level, the urban youth population, the urban lower income group and the government and Non-Government organizations, such as Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the UNDP. It has 48 networking partners both national and international, with whom ESDO shares information and involvement in programs.
