“Green Cites; Plan for the Planet!” is the theme of this year's observance of World Environment Day. With this theme the members of the Green Clubs have taken part in the environment day fair and rally. 

Two hundred green members took part at the rally on June 4,'05. Department of Environment DoE, Organized the rally. On June 5-6, '05 DoE organized two days long environment fair at China friendship Center in Dhaka. ESDO and Green Clubs members displayed different projects on environmental concern. Green Clubs project highlighted the challenges raised by one of the major trends of our times: the rapidly increasing proportion of people who are living in urban environments. The participating members were presenting strongly the consequences of the next quarter-century, almost all population growth will occur in cities, most of it in less developed countries. <ESDO NEWS>
